Welcome to Mountain Lake Inn!

Your gracious hosts, AJ and Todd Leoni, look forward to sharing their own personal haven with you. This is a place where you can come to relax and find peace in today’s hectic world.

The main house serves as the private residence of the Leoni family. The estate goes on to boast a lovely gathering of eleven one-bedroom cottages, circa 1920.

Our pleasing cottages look out on beautiful Lake Osceola.  The lake presents 1.6 miles of shoreline to explore. We encourage guests to use our canoe and paddleboat to enjoy the water.  Fishing is permitted with a license. If boating and fishing aren’t your desire, rise early in the morning and let the mist on the lake take your breath away, or find an unfrequented place to sit, read and enjoy the quiet. (For info on a fishing license, please click here: www.ncwildlife.org)

Being only minutes from Main Street in Hendersonville you will be able to take advantage of all this charming town has to offer.  Enjoy browsing our boutiques, antiquing or spend an evening on Main being entertained by live music at one of the many street dances. Day excursions to Brevard’s many waterfall trails and Asheville’s eclectic interests are a must. Check out our “things to do” page for many links to surrounding sites and activities.

MID-WINTER REPORT: Now that the holidays have passed, we’re settling in to our mid-winter schedule with lots of funs things to do for all ages. For theater buffs the Pack Place Mainstage Theatre Series in Asheville presents tv and stage stars Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker in Selected Shorts: Lots of Laughs on January 28. For those who love history, consider a free tour of the Hendersonville historic courthouse, or a visit to the Henderson County Heritage Musuem, displaying never before seen artifacts from the Civil War, through March 31.

Music lovers can attend a benefit concert at the St. James Episcopal Church on January 29 in Hendersonville, or catch the Soweto Gospel Choir at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville on the same day. You can also enjoy bluegrass & country music on Fridays & Saturdays at the Feed & Seed in Fletcher, or country music plus dancing at The Old Homeplace in Mill River. Check their websites for schedules.

We have lots of great restaurants in our area for the foodie set -- some of our favorites include: Fireside Restaurant & Pancake Inn for great casual dining including made from scratch recipes and fresh baked bread; Seasons Restaurant offering their unique international cuisine and award winning wine list; and Never Blue Tapas Bar & Grille on historic Main Street for their eclectic, artistic food that tastes as good as it looks. We also love Flat Rock Bakery and stop by as often as possible for their dark roasted organic coffees and warm pastries right out of the oven.

Come visit us, there's just so much here to see and do!
